I have easily saved over $200 shopping for shoes, clothes and furniture online, and I would save even more if I shop often.

2. Get Free Shipping
Shopping online has many perks. You not only get access to special online-only prices, but also free shipping. With free shipping, you can even save yourself from the hassle and the time of searching for what you want.
When shopping online, you can choose between the options of in-store pick up and home delivery.
You can order online and pick up your items in a Walmart store of your choice for free in USA without a minimum order value and in Canada on orders over $25. After your items arrive in your chosen store, you have 7 days to pick them up.
You also get free home delivery on orders over $35 in USA and over $50 in Canada.
3. Look For Coupon Codes Using Honey
When you are shopping online on Walmart, you get the option of entering a coupon code during checkout. Most people don’t enter a coupon code because they do not have any.
Use Honey to find coupons. Honey looks for all the coupon codes that are available on the web and applies them automatically during checkout.
Honey is extremely useful as it not only saves you money while shopping, but also a lot of time and hassle of searching for coupons on the web yourself.

4. Shop Through Rakuten
Another perk of shopping online is that you can get cashback on your purchases when you shop at Walmart through Rakuten’s website or mobile app.

After you sign up to Swagbucks, look for the Walmart offer. Swagbucks offers cashback in the form of SBs on online purchases made at Walmart (and many other stores too).

6. Upload Receipts On Checkout 51

Drop allows you to earn points that you can then redeem for rewards such as Amazon gift cards, Starbucks gift cards, etc. You earn points on your everyday purchases.

Drop is incredibly convenient because after you link your bank accounts and the Walmart offer, you can forget about it. Your in-store and online purchases would automatically sync with your Drop account allowing you to earn points on an auto mode.

8. Use Honey, Rakuten, Checkout 51 and Drop Together
You can get the most out of your purchases and maximize your cashback and rewards when you use Honey, Rakuten (USA or Canada, wherever you are), Checkout 51 and Drop simultaneously.
Suppose you are looking to buy a Colgate toothpaste from Walmart. You also see the offer listed on Checkout 51.
Shop on Walmart’s website through Rakuten (USA or Canada) to receive cashback. Look for any available coupons automatically using Honey. Pay for your product and earn points on Drop. After you receive your product, upload your packing slip to Checkout 51 to receive cashback.
What’s even better is that you would save even more money if the product you want to buy is cheaper online than in the store.
9. Get A Walmart Credit Card
While you may already be earning credit card rewards from your Walmart purchases, you can earn even more rewards by using the Walmart Rewards Mastercard. Walmart Rewards Card is a credit card that comes with $0 annual fee.
Walmart credit card allows you to earn more cashback on your regular purchases in Walmart.
In USA, you get 5% cashback for shopping online on Walmart and 2% cashback for shopping in-store. You also get 2% cashback in Walmart fuel stations. If you spend $500 on your groceries in Walmart every month, you could earn $120 per year in cash back with the Walmart card.
In Canada, you get 1.25% cashback for all your Walmart purchases. If you spend $500 on your groceries in Walmart every month, you could earn $75 per year in cash back with the Walmart card.

While it is hard to beat the prices at Walmart, other stores may sometimes have deals and cheaper prices for the same products that you see in Walmart.

If you go ahead and buy that product, make sure to price match during checkout. Show the other store’s flyer to the cashier and you would pay only the cheaper price instead of Walmart’s price for that product.
However, you cannot match the price with any store you want. Walmart has a limited list of stores that you can price match your products from. So make sure to browse through the flyers of only those stores that can be price matched at Walmart.
Now, it can be a tedious task to look through paper flyers one by one. The good news here is that you do not have to look through them individually or even physically.

Very often you see Great Value products next to top branded products. The only differences between Great Value products and the other brands’ products are the price, the design and the packaging.
The products are almost the same, if not exactly the same. For example, the engraved design on Great Value biscuits would be different from other brand’s biscuits. Everything else, including the shape, size, looks, ingredients, flavor and taste, would be the same.
Great Value products are cheaper. So buy Great Value products instead of other brands’ products and save money.
13. Shop The Clearance Section
Before every major public holiday, holiday themed products start showing up in Walmart stores. These products are sold at relatively higher prices.
However, after the actual holiday, you can grab these themed products at huge discounts. Walmart moves these products to the clearance section and sells them for ridiculously low prices.
So if you can wait until after the actual holiday, you can score some excellent deals and save a lot of money. You can even stock up for the same holiday next year.
The clearance section not only has holiday themed products, but a lot of general products too. Shop the clearance section and save your hard-earned money!
You can also shop the grocery clearance section in the store where they have near-expiry food products for half or less than half the original price.
14. Grab The Best Deals
Limited time deals are an excellent way to save a lot of money at Walmart. There are deals all year round but if you are very busy in your daily life, then you could miss out on some really good deals.

A good way to keep up with the deals is to sign up for email notifications.
15. Learn The Shelf Life Of Groceries
A really easy way to save money while shopping at Walmart is to learn the shelf life of groceries. Many people, especially young adults, buy a lot of food that ends up spoiling.
If you do not know how long a particular food product or fruit would last, research online before you go out to the grocery store.
StillTasty is a very good website to learn about the shelf life of a variety of food products. You can learn how to store uncooked and cooked food, when the food could spoil, and how to identify if the food has gone bad.
By researching in advance, you can plan and organize what you really want to buy. This can help you in saving money in the long run.

Walmart has all kinds of deals and they often send out emails about clearances, blowout prices and deals.
To make sure you don’t miss out any of the deals, make sure to subscribe Walmart’s offer emails when signing up for an account on Walmart’s website.
Also, after you have download the Walmart app, enable notifications so that you stay up-to-date with the latest deals.
17. Print Out Coupons
Coupons can help you save money ranging from a few cents to a few dollars. While the money you save may seem negligible, this adds up over the course of time.
